Lightweight. Strong. Carbon.

Hop on a well-made carbon fiber bike and you’ll discover a ride like no other. Not only is carbon significantly lighter than other materials, it also provides a strength and comfort that are second to none.

For more than 30 years, Trek has been building the world’s best carbon fiber bikes, setting the industry standard since 1992. With the company’s wealth of experience, you can climb the steepest alpine roads and descend the roughest mountain trails, knowing that TREK has put every frame and component through the toughest tests possible—and then some.

What is OCLV Carbon?

Trek's Optimum Compaction Low Void Carbon (OCLV for short) is a proprietary carbon composite used in frames, rims, handlebars and other components. It consists of carbon fibers arranged in precisely calculated layers, which are then compressed using heat and pressure to achieve the ideal carbon-to-resin ratio. This tightly controlled process helps minimize voids (the empty spaces between layers) that reduce strength and durability. The result is carbon that exceeds aerospace standards for a ride you can trust.

Revolutionary IsoFlow technology

The specific cavity in the seat tube isn't just for design. It accelerates airflow while absorbing road vibrations, ensuring a smooth ride without the added weight.

The lightest Madone SL Disc

New lightweight and fast aerodynamic tube shapes, combined with lightweight yet affordable 500 Series OCLV Carbon, make Gen 8 our lightest Madone SL Disc model yet and the perfect climbing bike.

Redefines the concept of speed

Revolutionary new aerodynamic shapes on the Full System Foil tubes improve airflow around the entire bike while maintaining the lightness that climbers strive for. What's more, the entire bike-rider system is precision engineered and rigorously tested to be faster everywhere.

Aero RSL integrated steering system

The specific cavity in the seat tube of the Madone SLR is not just for design. It accelerates airflow while absorbing road vibrations, ensuring a smooth ride without added weight.

Adjustable aero steering system on Madone SL

Madone Gen 8 features hoods that are narrower than the drops, so you can adjust your position to suit your riding style, whether you're prioritizing aerodynamics or power. Plus, a perfect fit with just a few adjustments thanks to a practical two-piece design.

Additional aero bottles for even higher speed

RSL Aero accessory bottles and baskets are designed in unison with Madone's aerodynamic Full System Foil shapes to make the entire bike-rider system even faster.
